Mrs. Mary Lois Croley

July 25, 1933 - January 25, 2022

Mrs. Mary Lois Croley, age 88, passed away, on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in Brewton, AL. She has resided most of her life, in Castleberry, AL. She is a member of the Castleberry Baptist Church. She retired as a bookkeeper for many years of employment. She valued the time she has got to spend family, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed going to church, sewing, quilting, working puzzles, and working in her flower gardens. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Ruby Greene) Wright, husband, Luther Croley, one daughter, Sarah Mae Croley, three brothers, Joseph Wright, James Vernon Wright, Paul P. Wright, two sisters, Gladys Eloise Hallford, and Molly Jo Macki. She is survived by her one son, Luther J. Croley, of Castleberry, AL; two daughters, Mary Abbott, of Brewton, AL; Janet Croley, of Brewton, AL; two sister-in-law’s, Jean Wright, of Memphis, TN; Marcia Wright, of Pelham, AL; two grandchildren, Tracey (Tracy) Parr, Amanda Williams (Gene Carpenter), two great-grandchildren, Zack Williams (Crystal Moffett), Alexandrea Parr, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC with Rev. Timothy Boggs officiating, and some kind words from nephew, Michael Wright. Burial will follow at Godwin Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM at Petty-Eastside Chapel funeral Home LLC. Pallbearers will be Terry Bush, Gene Carpenter, Louis Tharp, Mark Webb, Jackson Webb, and Zack Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Wright, Mike Wright, Paul Wright, and Dennis Wright.
