Mr. John Elton Killam, age 82, passed away, on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Pensacola, FL. He has resided most of his life in the Byrneville, Fl area. He was a member of Beulah Chapel. Mr. Killam was an Army Veteran, retired from Container Corporation in Brewton, AL. He enjoyed sitting at the store drinking coffee and solving the worlds problems. He was the founder of B&J Meat Processing of Century, FL. Mr. Killam is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Dora Lee Hanks Killam, one brother, Samuel Edgar Killam, two sisters, Evelyn O. Killam and Earline Hayles. Mr. Killam is survived by his loving wife of fifty- eight years, Betty Killam, of Byrneville, FL; three sons, John Victor Kilam, of Pensacola, FL; John Vincent “Vince” (Dawn) Killam, of Cantonment, FL; Jeffery Elton (Karen) Killam, of Byrneville, FL; sister-in- law, Mary L. Herrin, of Byrneville, FL; four grandchildren, Sarah Burnett, Hannah Killam, Kelby Killam, Joey Killam, three great- grandchildren, Zephyr Burnett, Zella Burnett, Raven Killam, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Beulah Chapel Assembly of God with Rev. Tim Floyd officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at Beulah Chapel Assembly of God. Pallbearers will be Kelby Killam, Joey Killam, Tommy Knowles, Jeremy Barnes, and Mike Beals, and Buddy Trawick Honorary pallbearers will be Arnold Burkett, Lavon Littles, Herman Armstrong, Keith Hayles. David Corley, and Regi Burkett. Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes, LLC. Atmore, AL. is in charge of all arrangements
